I have been listening to a news podcast called The Takeaway. I get the rss feed, and let the files build up until there is enough to fill up a DVD, so I am a bit behind. I am listening to the programs from early July. A couple of days ago I listened to one with a few segments about Al Franken.
They played a clip of an appearance he did with Ann Coulter. She said if she could be anyone in history, she would like to be FDR so she could stop the New Deal. Franken said he would like to be Adolph Hitler, so he could stop the Holocaust and World War II. I think that is about all you need to know about Ann Coulter.
I have also read some articles by conservatives trying to cast doubt on the legitimacy of his election, which was decided by a margin of 312 votes. If you look at the population of Minnesota in 2008 and Florida in 2000, Al Franken's margin was better than George W. Bush's. So get over it.
