I took my car to MidCity Nissan, and they said the "Check Engine" light codes were from several trips ago. They looked at everything, and all the relevant valves were fine. They also said that if the light came on they would check it for free. So they charged me $132, but they saved me the $1600.00 that Pep Boys would have charged me. Cha-ching!
Still my car may just sit for a while. I do not think I will be going anywhere for a while.

I May Keep My Car After All |

I had planned on getting rid of my car, but now I might wind up keeping it. I took it to Pep Boys, and they said that repairing it would cost $1600. I thought that I would be able to use the $3000 or so that I would save to buy stocks and save the world from financial collapse. Well, the world might be waiting. But Mid City Nissan in Chicago might get a payday.

The first podcast I will talk about is "The Better Atheist". This is, obviously, a podcast about atheism. I picked it first because there are only four episodes. It is looking like there will not be any more. The domain BetterAtheist.com is taken, but the page is blank. BetterAtheist.net and BetterAtheist.org do not seem to be valid domain names. There is a blog and podcast called "The Good Atheist", but I have not gotten around to looking at or listening to those yet. Since there were only four episodes of The Better Atheist, I could probably summarize the whole thing in one post.

I decided to add a new section about podcasts. I will not make a podcast myself. I will simply keep notes about different podcasts that I listen to.
